Chocolate Peanut Butter Overnight Oats

So for our Peanut Butter Banana overnight oats recipe we mentioned the pretty intentional exclusion of chocolate, since chocolate for breakfast is a whole thing, "a specific attitude", we called it. And that is true.

But we don't discriminate on attitude, so here we are. Easy Morning chocolate.

This bowl of oats might look like dessert. It might in fact be dessert. But if you eat it first thing in the morning, then who's to say it isn't breakfast, too?

 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 ripe banana

  • 1/2 cup of Easy Morning Mix

  • 3/4 cup of milk of choice

  • 2 teaspoon cacao powder

  • 1-2 tablespoon maple syrup

  • 2 tablespoon peanut butter

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, mash the banana.

Add Easy Morning Mix, milk, cacao, maple syrup, and peanut butter. Stir well to combine.

Transfer to a small bowl or mason jar. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Optional: Top with the remaining banana half, cinnamon, peanut butter, or cacao nibs.
